Accounts Assistant.

Location: Manama, Bahrain

Reporting to: Assistant Manager / Financial Controller

A quick overview:

We are looking for a team-player Accounts Assistant to join our finance and accounts team. The ideal candidate will perform daily accounting tasks that includes managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases and reconciling invoices. You will play a key role in supporting senior accountants when carrying out and recording financial transactions and help our finance department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Your key duties:

  • Prepare and maintain payment vouchers.

  • Prepare and maintain inventory records.

  • Prepare and maintaining petty cash vouchers and records.

  • Administer banks, vendors and customer reconciliations.

  • Handle cash and cheque deposits on daily basis.

  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting records as per the need.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in the basics of accounting.

  • Able to handle sensitive, confidential information.

  • Organized and able to spot numerical errors.

  • Effective communicator verbally and in writing.

Some must haves:

  • • BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.

  • 1-3 experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.

Some niceto haves:

  • Proficiency in ERP based accounting and MS office, especially Excel.

  • Good written communication.
