Sales Executive - Water Technology

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager

A quick overview:

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our Water Technology team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be combining high-level administrative role with technical responsibility. You will play a leading role in driving water technology related projects forward. You will determine clients’ needs and plan for the necessary equipment, personnel and other assets to be in place, while adopting a service-led approach to securing and developing new client relationships and business opportunities, enabling the growth of our client portfolio and maximizing revenue per client.

  • Achieve mutually agreed sales targets in a given profile for specific products and segments.

  • Identify potential customers and increase the sales business share in the market.

  • Develop valuable, mutually beneficial client relationships through regular face-to-face interaction, sales calls and extensive networking with the objective of securing business.

  • Attract and retain inactive clients by promoting an improved customer service approach.

  • Undertake extensive research through effective networking to understand customers’ service requirements.

  • Assume the responsibility of payment collection in collaboration with credit control and finance teams.

  • Promote annual maintenance contracts to improve customers after-sales service.

  • Learn the product lines including the competitive advantages each has and consult customers of their best options accordingly.

  • Adopt innovative sales strategies to ensure we remain the top preferred supplier in market.

  • Mitigate projects risks and ensure 100% compliance with rules and regulations.

  • Create and present technical presentations showcasing products and services to existing and prospective customers.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Goal driven, young and representable.

  • Effective communicator, decision maker and problem solver.

  • Persuasive and adept at interpreting customers’ needs.

Some must haves:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales or marketing roles.

  • English and Arabic speaker.

  • Proven presentation skills.

  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office.

  • Currently working in Dammam and has a valid driving license.

Some nice-to have:

  • Previous experience in water technology fields such as irrigation, water heaters and fountains.
